PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF THE REVISED REVENUE POLICY FOR THE DRAFT MANAGEMENT PLAN 2007/08 – 2009/10

Council has prepared a Revised Revenue Policy as part of its Draft Management Plan 2007/08 – 2009/10. The Revised Revenue Policy presents rating models which include:

• the 3.4% rate pegging limit
• an option to upgrade the existing swimming pool and an option which proposes the design and construction of an indoor swimming pool facility
• a review of the redistribution of rates.

The Revised Revenue Policy is on public exhibition from 24 May 2007 until 4.30pm on 20 June 2007 and is available for viewing at Council’s Administration Centre, Lithgow Library Learning Centre, Wallerawang Library, Portland Library, Rydal Library and Council's website www.lithgow.nsw.gov.au.

Written submissions maybe made at any time during the exhibition period up until 4.30pm on 20 June 2007 and should quote DAMP07-10.
