Mechanic

Written applications are invited for the position of mechanic within Council’s Community and Corporate division. The position will be primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of Council's vehicles and equipment, and the maintenance and operation of specialised equipment

Successful applicants must have formal qualifications in automotive plant, plant mechanics or motor mechanics, hold a class MR drivers licence and a minimum of five years experience in the mechanic field

Remuneration: Salary in a range from $723.18 to $787.98 per 38 hour week is being offered. Favourable conditions of employment include a rostered day off every fortnight and access to a generous salary sacrifice procedure.

Network Administrator (Maternity Leave)

Written applications are invited for the Temporary position of Network Administrator within Council’s Community and Corporate division for a period of up to 12 months. The position will be primarily responsible for the effective and efficient management service to all sections of Council. The position is part of a small team that supports, assists and advises users on communication, technical, software and hardware issues.

Successful applicants will hold a class C drivers licence and have a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or similar or five years relevant experience. Demonstrated experience with Windows server and desktop operating systems and an extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite of programs is also essential.

Remuneration: Salary is a range from $1,155.81 to $1,276.32 per week dependent on skills, qualifications and experience. Favourable conditions of employment include a rostered day off every three week cycle and a generous salary sacrifice procedure.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Co-ordinator

Written applications are invited for the position of OHS Co-ordinator within Council’s Organisational Development (OD) division. The position will be primarily responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of Council’s OHS system, and for providing advice and support to all levels of Council on OHS related matters.

Successful applicants will hold a class C drivers licence and have a minimum of a certificate IV in OHS. A certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and tertiary qualifications to degree level in OHS are desirable. Graduates or pending graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Remuneration: Salary is a range from $829.27 to $1,133.70 per week dependent on skills, qualifications and experience. Favourable conditions of employment include a rostered day off every three week cycle, a mobile phone for business use, access to a vehicle during business hours, and a generous salary sacrifice procedure.
