Noise
Noise can affect the health and well being of people. A persons tolerance to noise is subjective and depends upon a number of factors such as the type, duration and frequency of the noise. Council aims to address noise issues on their merit and by seeking a mediated solution.
The state of noise during 2004/05 is illustrated using the following key indicators.
